BIO
Growing up in the mountains of Upper Styria, Austria, I'm a country kid who spent his youth ski jumping & cross-country skiing. However, being too lazy to train hard enough to become a professional sportsman and starting to excessively love the music of Oasis, I started to learn myself how to play guitar in 2006. What started as an attempt to become one of those cool kids, quickly became an obession and in the same year I began to write my first original songs.
In 2008 I headed to Graz to apply to university and to start working on my music more seriously. What followed were years of performing and finding my voice, sound and place on stage, including support shows for profiled artists such as Helgi Jonsson, Scott Matthew, Ezra Furman & The Harpoons and Teenage Fanclub. In 2010 I self-published my Debut EP and am currently working on my very first LP, which will be released in 2012.
For better or for worse, I wear my heart on my sleeve, if not both. If you put that into music you get poignant songs about lost lovers, hollow city nights and the demons inside my heart & mind, expressed with a powerful and self-reliant voice.
...between orchestral campfire sound, a bit of kitsch & the real big shit...
I'll keep my heartbeat from fading out
